It's Reality Time For Z On Tv.

Oh, the Exploitation!  And, it's right in Leader Z's backyard. Come on Leader Z - take your stand for the little babies in Baltimore.  Don't they need you more than the children of Kate Gosselin?
Discovery Health (owned by Discovery who also owns TLC) is doing TEN! count'em TEN! episodes filming preemies at Baltimore's Mercy Medical Center.  Leader Z, where is the leadership to stand up to this abuse of children?  Who is protecting their privacy?  Where are the work permits?   What if there are nude babies?  What length of hours were these preemies filmed?  Were child labor laws followed?  How much will these babies earn and will it be put in a trust? Are they getting 15% of the gross profits?  What if some of the mothers wear hooker heels?  Will it be wrong just for them?
It only takes a hack to post a press release.  Where's your opinion?  Isn't that what you get paid to do?
Do you think Discovery/TLC is filming this in Baltimore so you will lay off Kate Gosselin or has reality come knocking on your back door?  LMAO

  1. Ok Z...We need a zlogger intervention about this whole Discovery documentary.

Any thoughts??? Is this good publicity for the hospital...bad for the babies of the NICU???

Sherry....that is the best bzf...we cannot always agree.:-)
Yes, I have been chasing Emmys all day and did not have time to respond to maura or anyone else. Here's the important part: You cannot judge all works by the one experience you had. In my opinion, "Rescue 911" was a cheap, tarshy, exploitative series. her experience does not surprise me. ON THE OTHER HAND, I have seen brilliant, sensitive documentary series done inside hospitals, like ABC's "Hopkins 24/7." Filmmaker Terry Wrong gained the confidence and trust of doctors, and his crew filmed with great respect and sensitivity, according to the doctors and Hopkins officials to whom I spoke. It was a brilliant series. In fact, ABC and Wrong have another series on right now, "Boston Med," that is terrific. So, don't pre-judge whole categories of shows by one person's experience with a trashy series. I would expect nothing less from "Rescue 911," but I am talkking to doctors at mercy medical right now, and writing about this for Sunday. And this is an open plea to everyone within earshot: Can folks please quit fighting and trying to be more righteous than one another? Life is tough enough without folks fighting needlessly on this blog. Thanks. Z

Leader Z - You've been creating controversy around Kate G. and TLC since you discovered the Zeeple would flock to your site. Did you forget how evil Discovery/TLC is now that they're filming in Baltimore? You're always writing how TLC infiltrates your blog to promote Kate G. Isn't that the only bullet point on their mission statement? Why aren't you interested in saving these poor babies who aren't yours from Discovery's clutches? They should be entitled to the same rights you insist the eight Gosselin children should have.
You've trained your Zeeple to watch out for TLC at every internet corner. You've sent them to attack any challenging opinion. You've taught them to be self-righteous because only they know the Zeeples's truth. Wonder why your life suddenly got too tough to hack what you've created? LMAO - gearing up for all that back peddling must be really frustrating.

  2. I wonder if Rep. Murt is aware that those poor kids were made to be out in the dangerous heat of NYC this week to film the next episode? This is just so wrong - but the show must go on! Mommy needs the cash!

Unless they closed their borders due to the heat, SRU is sure that the Gosselins did not have all of NYC and Manhattan to themselves.
Let's round-up all the vacationing families who were out enjoying the city and tell Murt about them. If it's wrong for Kate to take her family on vacation, it's wrong for everyone.

The fact that the Zeeple try every which to catch TLC/Kate wronging the Gosselin children is another reason they will never be taken seriously. None of them report/stalk any other reality tv family.

  3. RE Gosselins and the heat (short version):

According to a post on another blog site (the poster emailed the labor department and received a response), since the children are in the care of their mother, the labor dept. can't do a thing as "mother knows best."

Sorry, this just doesn't go together. You can't care about some of the kids and not the others. We have preemies here in ICU vs. taking the others for a hike in 100+ degree weather in the City with cameras in front of their faces! LIttle kids can end up in the hospital with heat exhaustion...

SRU loves this dose of reality for the Zeeple. The NY Dept. Of Labor won't mandate that Kate's children must stay inside while visiting NYC. CPS didn't do a sweep of parents who had their children out in Central Park either. The Labor Dept will leave the care of the children up to their parents (gasp) instead of a craZy calling in with a paparazzi picture as evidence. The Zeeple must be using their Magic 8 Ball to surmise all the details of the Gosselins from a few photos. They have no idea how insane they look to the people outside of their cultish world.

Touring China Town and a trip to Ellis Island is hardly a death march.
At least Janet is not blindly following Leader Z. Maybe there will be a revolt.

  4. OMG they are idiots. So are we supposed to be worried about all the kids in NYC who were outside last week? They didn't let their kids out?
